Happy Chuseok!

This weekend was Chuseok, a Korean holiday comparable to Thanksgiving. Which means a long weekend for the students and professors at Kosin University. We took advantage of our long weekend and got out to see a little more of Busan.

Friday night, Emily and I went to Nampodong, an area of Busan with a some markets, and a bunch of restaurants and shops. Mostly we wanted to learn how to get around on our own without getting lost. We had an excellent evening involving Krisy Kreme and our Middle Eastern favorite, shwerma.

On Saturday we went hiking around some Buddhist temples, which was really neat. Here are some pictures from the day:




And on Saturday night, I went out with one of my students from my Advanced Conversation class. It was the two of us and her 8 year old brother. We had a nice time.
