Lights Festival

We'd been building anticipation for a month now, but yesterday was the big day. Kosin has a Christmas Lights Festival every December, and all of its splendor was unveiled last night. Campus has been undergoing an overhaul with ladders, scaffolding, and a whole lot of reindeer, so it was fun to see the final product.

Christmas really isn't that big of a deal in Korea, so Kosin is one of the only places decked out for the holidays. Apparently President Kim got the idea for the Festival when he was in Northwest Iowa during the winter.

I'd say the words understated and classy describe it best.
