Today in an American Documents class that I am co-teaching with a Korean, we went over newspaper articles relating to the NCAA basketball tournament brackets and college football championships like the Rose Bowl and Super Bowl. One of the questions I fielded: "Why do the players want to win a bowl?"
Why indeed.
