Bugs and Buddhists
This morning I walked down the hill to go to the post office. On the way, I passed one of the Buddhist temples in my neighborhood. As I was walking by, one of the monks came out of the entrance to the temple with some sort of roachy bug. He crossed the street and gently placed the bug onto some of the plants on the other side. Apparently this monk isn't keen on bug killing, and it made me smile.
